Yo cuando fui de intercambio en la escuela era un boludito, no le prestaba atención a nada, pero lo poco que te puedo decir que allá es todo una competencia extrema desde que entran a la educación superior (el secundario), muy diferente a lo que es acá que los pibes por ahi ni saben lo que van a estudiar un mes antes de terminar la escuela. Que se yo, el nivel de frustración es el mismo que en todos lados, pero yo veo que allá casi culturalmente te diria les comen la cabeza con la competencia desde muy jovenes.

Existe ese tipo de delito allá igual? No estuve mas de 6 meses siendo un pendejo pero siempre me dio la sensación de que allá si no te metes donde no se debe esta todo bien, diferente a lo que pasa acá que salis a tomar un helado en la zona mas centrica y te asaltan a mano armada adelante de todos.

En los lugares que yo estuve jamas me pasó que me quisieran robar. Si que me quisieran buscar pelea por ser blanco, o andar con una minita negra o ser rockero (solia tener el pelo largo, ja) o hablar español, etc… o sea, cuestiones de identidad, como andar con una camiseta del equipo contrario aca en Argentina. Igual eso me pasó mas que nada en NY. En Miami, Texas o Portland OR que son los lugares donde voy ultimamente la verdad que no pasa un carajo.

Eso no significa que no haya robos, obvio. Pero el crimen me parece que pasa mas por la venta de droga y peleas en bares, escuelas o en la calle en gente de distintos grupos sociales, lo que le llaman el “hate crime”

Se refiere a las masacres o tiroteos en escuelas. Ya van 13 en lo que va de 2018, desde 2013 uno por semana.
“Bowling for Columbine” ya tiene 19 años de antiguedad, de ahí para adelante se fue a la mierda. Y con Donald justo no van a cambiar las politicas. El suicidio de Jeremy en el 91, ahi se mezcla el tema del bullying. Es algo que viene de hace ratisimo.

Si. Es un tema complejo. Es un pais muy heterogeneo en todo sentido, por eso es muy dificil generalizar. Es como meter a hinchas de todos los equipos en la misma tribuna, algun quilombito siempre se puede armar. No estoy seguro que la clave pase exclusivamente por el NRA o la tenencia de armas. En los años 50 tambien habia armas en casi todos los hogares y sin embargo no existian esta clase de cosas (al menos no con esta frecuencia)

Por lo que lei en CNN, lo que pasó es que Trump lo planteó cuando se reunió con chicos de la escuela y algunos padres y profesores, preguntandoles que les parecía la idea, y la mayoría lo sacó cagando.
